If you are looking for volunteers to help your organization, fill out this form and submit.

When identifying your project(s), consider projects at your agency that have never been completed or projects that you just haven't had the opportunity to begin.  Also consider projects that support the four United Way of Summit County Community Impact areas: Improving Health & Wellness, Attaining Independence, Building Successful Children and Families, and Reinforcing Our Basic Needs. (Please refer to the Day of Action Group Project Ideas Only document previously provided to you).  Please note: All Day of Action participating agencies must be a certified IRS 501(c)3 non-profit and located in Summit County, Ohio.

Agencies are responsible for supplying any and all materials, tools and refreshments. 
NOTE:  The Salvation Army of Summit County will be preparing and donating lunches for all volunteers, but will NOT be delivering those lunches.  Agencies requesting volunteer lunches from The Salvation Army, must pick them up on Friday, June 20th, anytime between the hours of 10:00 am to 11:30 am.  The Salvation Army is located at 190 S. Maple St., Akron, OH  44302.

My agency will be providing lunches to our Day of Action volunteers, therefore I will NOT require lunches from The Salvation Army, Summit County.  

For volunteer safety, my agency affirms that a First Aid Kit(s) will be available at any and all Day of Action volunteer site(s) to use as needed.
