is at United Way!

Speak on Their Experience |
Eric
Herrmann FirstEnergy Corporation
"Supporting the United Way of Summit
County as a Loaned Executive was a satisfying experience, offering an
excellent way to "give back" for the betterment of the
community. The training program provides significant details of the
philanthropic process and prepares the Loaned Execs to be in a position
to add value and insight. Loaned Execs have the unique opportunity to
visit with a variety of businesses and meet the leaders that are the
backbone of support in Summit County.
I urge those who are candidates to serve
as a Loaned Executive to jump on board, it’s an experience you will be
proud of." |

Baer City of Akron
"Serving as a Loaned Executive for United Way of Summit County was
one of the most rewarding assignments I have ever experienced. The
program helped strengthen my communication and project management
skills, and the networking and contacts with local businesses and
municipalities is something I will continue to draw upon in the future.
More importantly, I gained a better understanding and awareness of
community needs and a renewed sensitivity for helping others. I know of
no other 12-week commitment that can give you this kind of first-hand
insight. I am proud to have had the opportunity to serve as the City of
Akron’s representative for the 2004 Loaned Executive program and would
wholeheartedly recommend the experience." |
