Remember United Way in Your Will
For more than 80 years, United Way of Summit County has been helping people in need by giving them care, guidance and support that lasts far beyond the need of the moment.

In partnership with the American Red Cross, we go beyond emergency assistance to provide community programs that help people get back on their feet and on with their lives. We encourage independence, but most importantly, we revive the human spirit.

Gifts by Will are one of the most important ways to contribute to the future of United Way. People need not be wealthy to make a meaningful bequest to United Way. All bequests are greatly appreciated and will be put to good use.

If you choose to designate United Way in your Will, you and your attorney may find the following sample bequest wording helpful.

"I give and bequeath to United Way of Summit County, 90 North Prospect Street, Akron, Ohio, the sum of __________dollars or ______% of my estate."

Please remember United Way in your Will and let us know when you do.

For more information on bequests, contact Charlene Corlett, Vice President of Major Gifts at 330.643.5537 or email ccorlett@uwsummit.org
