UNITED WAY OF SUMMIT COUNTY’S
BOB KULINSKI ELECTED CHAIRMAN OF
NATIONAL PRESIDENTS’ ROUNDTABLE
(AKRON, OHIO) — United
Way of Summit County President and Chief Professional Officer Bob
Kulinski has been elected Chairman of the National Presidents’
Roundtable, a professional organization of leaders from United Ways
of various sizes from across the country.
The mission of the
group is to provide a vehicle for its members to discuss and debate
current United Way issues, share best practices, and provide a
frank, supportive network of advisors to its members who are
familiar with the day-to-day challenges of United Way management.
Kulinski, a 25-year
United Way veteran, has been President of United Way of Summit
County since 2000, and has been a member of the National Presidents’
Roundtable for five years.
According to Kulinski,
his membership in the Roundtable has been very valuable. “During
these meetings, I’ve learned about successful programs undertaken by
other United Ways, but I’d have to say that a great deal of the
information I’ve shared about what we do here in Summit County is as
unique and impressive as these other organizations are engaged in."
Kulinski is one of the
nation’s top experts on and collectors of antique cameras and
photographic equipment. He lives in West Akron with his wife Sarah.
