The All-American Soap Box Derby and United Way of Summit County are teaming up to offer local companies the chance of a lifetime — to build your own Soap Box car and race it on the world famous Derby Downs.

Corporate teams of up to five members will spend the morning building and decorating a replica original Soap Box car.  After a tasty lunch and networking hour, it’s off to the track for an afternoon of fun and racing. Heats will be run, and winners will advance until a Corporate Derby Champion is crowned.

The champion team will get a beautiful traveling trophy to display for an entire year, and they’ll be invited back to celebrate their victory during the All-American Soap Box Derby Race Day – Saturday, July 24, 2010.

Each participating organization will get to keep their uniquely-decorated Derby car.

A full day of fun and team-building activities for your organization, a unique memento of the day, and the knowledge you’re supporting two of the area’s most well-known and venerable non-profit organizations.
