Before you curl up with your favorite magazine or a new book, remember how you learned to read and consider paying it forward to a young reader. United Way's Read to Me Day aims to help Pre-K through sixth grade students develop the literacy skills they need to become lifelong learners. Volunteers are needed to read to students for 30 minutes in a Barberton City Schools classroom. You may bring a library book, a book of your own, or a new book to donate to the classroom. Inspiring children to read is a great gift to give!
