Summit County Fatherhood Initiative

The mission of the Summit County Fatherhood Initiative is to improve the wellbeing of children by increasing the number growing up with involved, responsible and committed fathers.

The initiative helps fathers gain access to their children, assists with child support and custody legal issues and places fathers in sustaining jobs. Training and placement of participants in jobs also intersects with support provided to ex-offenders reentering the community through the Summit County Reentry Network.

For more information about the Summit County Fatherhood Initiative contact Devoe Johnson, United Way’s Senior Director of Community Impact at 330.643.5511 or by email.
