Read to Me Day - Akron Public Schools

Before you curl up with your favorite magazine or a new book, remember how you learned to read and consider paying it forward to a young reader. United Way's Read to Me Day aims to help Pre-K through sixth grade students develop the literacy skills they need to become lifelong learners. Volunteers are needed to read to students for 30 minutes in an Akron City Schools classroom. You may bring a library book, a book of your own, or a new book to donate to the classroom. Inspiring children to read is a great gift to give!
