Women United

Created and led by women, Women United is an integral part of United Way. Its mission is simple: mobilize the power of women to advance the common good in Summit County. Members invest their time, talent and professional expertise to
advance causes they are passionate about. By mentoring young professional women, celebrating the accomplishments of local women and volunteering as a group at United Way engagement events, Women United has distinguished itself as a powerful philanthropic force within Summit County.

Those who make a yearly gift of $1,000 or more, individually or as a couple, are eligible to join.

Members invests their time, professional expertise and talent to advance causes they care passionately about – primarily those of benefit to women and children. Women United is recognized as a powerful philanthropic force. From mentoring young professional women, lending expertise to nonprofit agencies, hosting the annual Power of the Purse and Women on the Rise events to volunteering as a group for Day of Action.
